The Daily Beast picked up a terrific little story from IranWire about people going to
clandestine dance lessons in Iran. And while I was editing it, I looked up the final scene of the 1984 movie "Footloose," with Kevin Bacon, about an ultra-conservative town in the USA where dancing is deemed contrary to Christian religion. I had forgotten how much fun those last few minutes of the movie really are. Perhaps our friends in Iran can take a little inspiration from them.
